About us Regional Agency for Socio Economic Development – Banat, Ltd Zrenjanin (later on RDA – Banat) was founded through the ‘‘transformation’’ of the Regional Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Size Enterprises and Entrepreneurs – Banat Ltd. The overall objective was to contribute to sustainable socio-economic development in Banat, by creating a strong partnership between Banat municipalities. RDA Banat has therefore been created as the institutional framework in which the municipalities can join their economic resources. RDA – Banat is a limited liability company, a non – profit organization, registered in accordance with the Commercial Companies Law of the Republic of Serbia. Its founders are the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Executive Council of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, all 19 municipalities of Banat territory, Banat’s Regional Chamber of Commerce, four NGOs - European Movement in Serbia, District 0230, APSMEE Vršac, BUPA Pančevo and two companies - ’’Mlekoprodukt“ from Zrenjanin and HIP Petrohemija. However, besides the responsibility to its founders, RDA - Banat is accountable to each of 690.000 Banat’s inhabitants. Our role RDA – Banat is the first development institution on the territory of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina that deals with the socio – economic development. As such, it can serve as a role model for setting up other agencies/centers. Working together with its partners, RDA – Banat fulfils its role of leading the economic development of the Banat territory by: - making a contributions to the use of available resources according to priorities- bringing partners from all sectors together and encouraging them to achieve better results, - promoting awareness of Banat opportunities:
