In the first stage SEE-IFA-NETWORK will identify needs and gaps in all SEE-countries in the region's capacity for a more effective provision of innovation and technology support to micro and small and medium size enterprises (related to WP3). Based on these outcomes, it will improve the exchange and transfer of know-how through the assessment of existing instruments and the identification and modification of transferable elements (related to WP4). Preliminary results obtained so far will enhance the operating environment through the identification of funding possibilities and the development of a patent and license Fund (related to WP5). In the last stage IFA partners and relevant bodies will be assisted in the establishment of Innovation & Finance Agencies with adequate portfolios for innovation and technology support (related to WP6). Overall, SEE-IFA-NETWORK will increase capacity of local actors and experts through mentoring, training, exchange schemes and visits (related to WP7)
