TETALAP (Hungarian Science and Technology Foundation) is a non-profit public foundation established by the Hungarian Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1994. TETALAP has wide experience in international projects. It has taken part in 31 EU Framework Programme (FP) projects, 2 EC tenders, 2 INTERREG projects, and 2 LEONARDO projects, many of them targeting SMEs. The FP projects were mainly Specific Support Actions with the aim to facilitate the participation of SMEs by providing information, training, advice, contacts, technology audits. TETALAP was the coordinator of 5 projects in FP6. At this moment it is coordinator of 2 and partner in 10 FP7 projects. It acts as Lead Partner in a project financed by South East Europe Programme. The Foundation was appointed to work as one of the national liaison offices with the task to facilitate the FP6 participation of Hungarian scientists, institutions and firms.
TETALAP is an accredited project manager organisation – its certification was issued by the National Office for Research and Technology in 2008. At this moment TETALAP has been managing about 770 projects in the field of bilateral intergovernmental science&technology cooperation.
TETALAP is the Hungarian bridgehead organization of the European Mobility Network EURAXESS.
